"Barcelona" club president Sandro Rosellas sparked a wave of discussion by stating that he would like to acquire only one player from the fiercest rival Real Madrid camp, but it would not be Cristiano Ronaldo.
He added that he would not even buy the Portuguese for a penny.
"There is only one Real player that I have admired for many years," Rosellas said to "Eurosport." "There are many good players in the Madrid team, but I would choose only him. However, I do not want to cause unnecessary discussions and I will not name him."
Journalists tried to provoke by suggesting Iker Casillas, who could potentially take the place of Victor Valdes who intends to leave, but Rosellas cut them off: "Iker? As I said, I don't want to talk specifically."
The vice-champion of Spain added that C.Ronaldo does not appeal to him: "I would not invite Cristiano to Barcelona, even if he were a free agent. Sometimes you have to pay a triple price for free things."
