Legendary "Man Utd" goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel doesn't believe that Jose Mourinho will take over the reins of the English club from Sir Alex Ferguson.
With 71-year-old Ferguson's career nearing its end, speculation continues on who will replace him in the coaching position after almost three decades of stability. So far, the most likely candidate mentioned is Mourinho, currently in charge of Madrid's "Real."
"Jose won't be the one to replace Ferguson," said Schmeichel. "I don't think that a club like this needs what Mourinho would bring with him. Of course, he is a great specialist, but there is not only the bright side to it."
He added: "Look at it: "Chelsea", "Inter", "Real" - he practically hasn't worked anywhere longer than three years."
On Wednesday in Madrid, Mourinho will face Ferguson face to face: The Spanish and English teams will clash in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
