On Tuesday, after a 69-day break, the UEFA Champions League returned to the hearts of football fans.

In the first round of the knockout stage, victories were achieved and the away teams gained an advantage before the second leg matches - Turin's "Juventus" and PSG.

The "Old Lady" with Antonio Conte at the helm crushed the Glasgow "Celtic" players with a score of 3-0 with bold statements before the match.

The Scots were knocked down just 3 minutes into the game, when Alessandro Matri scored after a quick counterattack. Two more goals came at the end of the match - exhausted Neil Lennon's proteges were finished off by Claudio Marchisio and Mirko Vucinić.

Meanwhile, PSG proved their superiority against "Valencia", but needlessly complicating the situation at the end of the match - the final whistle declared a 2-1 victory for the Parisian club.

After being the favorite at the end of the first half, the dominance of the wealthier teams was unquestionable. Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Pastore's accurate shots crushed the hopes of the home team fans at the "Mestalla" stadium.

Still, the end of the second half revived their hopes, as Adil Rami softened the difference after a standard situation, and Zlatan Ibrahimović, foolishly receiving an unnecessary red card for a foul, will also miss the return match on March 6.
