Before the Champions League match between Madrid's "Real" and "Manchester United" Cristiano Ronaldo presented a 100 thousand euro check to the Red Cross.
Madrid's "Real" forward C.Ronaldo received a cash prize from UEFA for being included in the Champions League team of the year by football fans seven times.
The footballer decided to donate the 100 thousand euro check to the Red Cross, which will allocate the money to soldiers fighting in Afghanistan and those affected by mines.
“People who come to watch football pay a lot of money. It means a lot to me and I feel very good that they appreciated me. I like to participate in social projects and know that I can help,” said Cristiano Ronaldo.
