Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber is optimistic and believes that the Bavarian team has excellent chances of achieving their highest goals in the upcoming seasons.
The German national team player believes that the Munich club can become the dominant team in Europe and dethrone "Barcelona" from this position, especially when former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola takes over the reins of the team from the beginning of next season.
"Bayern Munich can become the biggest club in Europe, even bigger than Barcelona," the defender told the newspaper "Bild."
Currently, the 23-year-old footballer is recovering from an injury, but hopes to play a few more matches before the end of the season: "I hope to at least step onto the field for a couple of games. Right now, that's my main goal."
This season, before the injury, H. Badstuber played 12 matches in the German league.
