Returning to Real Madrid, Diego Lopez feels great and assures that the main priority of the club is to reach the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League and continue to fight in the Copa del Rey tournament.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper arrived in Madrid this winter when it became clear that captain Iker Casillas would miss the most important matches of this season.
"Every minute in the Real club is a gift from heaven," D. Lopez stated. "We cannot relax, we have to give our all in every game."
"We all understand that the La Liga title is probably out of reach for Real. However, we have good chances to fight for the remaining titles," the former Villarreal goalkeeper added.
Today, at 22:00, the royal club will host the Rayo Vallecano team at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
