Real Madrid fans would like the team to be coached by Michael Laudrup, according to a survey.
The Spanish champions, torn apart by internal conflicts among players and coaches, have not found their game this season and have almost lost all chances of defending their title. Therefore, rumors persist that the future of coach Jose Mourinho is hanging by a thread, and that he is said to be the favorite to replace him is Carlo Ancelotti, currently working for "Paris St.Germain".
Nevertheless, an internet survey conducted by AS, in which 32,000 Real fans participated, revealed that the majority want to see "Swansea" coach Laudrup at the helm of the team, who received 72% of the votes. Rafael Benitez came in second (17%), and Ancelotti in third (9%).
A similar survey conducted by "Marca" in January was won by Benitez, but Laudrup's excellent results at Swansea in the English championship and league cup have boosted his position.
