The Spanish media reports that on February 3, just hours after a shocking defeat of the royal club to the "Granada" team, the French player's "Audi" car was caught speeding in the city at a speed of 216 km per hour.
For such an offense, the player faces a prison sentence of three to six months.
The first court hearing was supposed to take place on Tuesday, but it was postponed due to the Spanish Cup match in Barcelona.
