On Sunday, three "Ligue 1" XXVII round matches were played in France.

It was a great opportunity for Lyon to catch up with the leading PSG players, but they missed it by playing a 1-1 draw with Brest away. Both goals were scored by the home team players, one of them ended up in their own goal.

Marseille took advantage of the leaders' stumbles and reduced the gap. Marseille's Olympique defeated Troyes 2-1 at home.

The hosts conceded the first goal in the 71st minute when Marcos scored, but soon everything turned around in just two minutes. Marseille celebrated victory after precise strikes from defender Nicolas N‘Koulou and Andre-Pierre Gignac.

In the evening match, Lille defeated Bordeaux players at home with a score of 2-1. The hosts were behind after Jaroslav Plašil's penalty in the 31st minute, but in the second half, Lille fought back and goals from Ronny Rodelino and Salomon Kalou allowed them to celebrate victory.
