Madrid's "Real" strategist Jose Mourinho boldly stated that during Tuesday's match against "Man Utd," the world will temporarily stop and observe the battle between possibly the most powerful teams in Europe.
The first clash of the Spanish and English giants in Madrid ended in a draw at 1-1, so the chances remain even before the return UEFA Champions League round of 16 match.
"The world will stop and watch this duel. I doubt if it's possible to have higher expectations than before such a match," said Mourinho. "No one knows what will happen, as the teams are almost equal."
"Real" arrives in England in good spirits, having won two consecutive "El Clasico" matches against arch-rival "Barcelona" club: in the King's Cup and in the Spanish championship.
"It doesn't matter how we played in the last two matches - we feel the same way here. The first time we defeated our rivals, we reached the King's Cup final, and the second match didn't mean much, as we have no more hopes in the Spanish championship. But the Champions League is a different story," said the Portuguese.
"These tournaments are not related, so the feelings are different. Of course, it's better when the players are in good spirits. But a powerful opponent awaits us, leading the English championship firmly in March," he added.
