The police have arrested Carlos Tevez, a striker for the English Premier League champion Manchester City, who is famous for various scandals, according to ESPN.
The 29-year-old footballer was arrested for driving despite having his driving license recently revoked by court decision.
In January, the court revoked C. Tevez's driver's license for six months and fined him £1540 (€6160) for repeatedly exceeding the speed limit, caught by speed cameras.
This time, the Argentine was stopped by police for ignoring the court decision and still driving a car. The footballer faces much stricter sanctions this time - at least a £5000 (€20,000) fine and a possible arrest for up to six months.
