On Tuesday, the Disciplinary Committee of the Lithuanian Football Federation held a meeting to discuss a racist incident that occurred during the eighth round of the "A League" match between "Atlantas" and "Šiauliai", warning all clubs in the country.

The Discipline Committee considered the observation made by the representative of the "Šiauliai" club, E. Anglickas, that on May 7 in Klaipėda, during the match between "Atlantas" and "Šiauliai", the home team's fans offended "Šiauliai" player Amaro Atigbiolaye with racist chants.

Since this is one of the first cases of this kind in Lithuanian football, it was decided to issue a warning to everyone this time - if it is revealed that there were racist attacks during matches in stadiums, clubs will be strictly punished without any concessions or additional warnings.

Meanwhile, in the NFKA "A League" today (Wednesday) there will be a single match: due to Vilnius "Žalgiris" participating in the Intertoto Cup tournament, a postponed match from the 15th round will be played, where Žalgiris will play against the "Kaunas" team. The match will start at 17:30 at the "Žalgiris" stadium in the capital.
