Former Liverpool defender Jamie Redknapp insists that the most productive striker of the "Reds" club, Luis Suarez, should become the best footballer of the year in the English Premier League.
This season, L. Suarez is demonstrating excellent athletic form in England. With a few months left until the end of the season, the Uruguayan has scored 22 goals.
"I don't know which player deserves the title of best player of the year more than Luis Suarez," the 39-year-old Englishman stated according to the Daily Mail.
"Robin van Persie and Gareth Bale are also contenders to become the best, but Suarez has been more valuable to Liverpool throughout the season than the latter," Redknapp continued to argue.
