"Real" Madrid forward Karim Benzema lost his driver's license for eight months and was fined 18 thousand euros for reckless driving. On Friday, K. Benzema was sentenced by a Madrid court, which agreed to make a decision earlier than planned after the first hearing. Previously, the court had scheduled a hearing for March 26, while at that time the French national team was playing a World Cup qualifying match against Spain. However, after requesting to reschedule the hearing, the court did not object. In February, in the Spanish capital, K. Benzema was caught speeding at a speed of 134 kilometers per hour, in an area where the speed limit is 100 kilometers per hour.
