In Liverpool, the local team "Everton" faced "Manchester City". David Moyes' players secured a convincing victory with a score of 2-0.
The first goal into "Man City's" net was scored in the first half, when Leon Osman marked after a precise pass from Seamus Coleman.
In the second half, the "cityzens" started pressing their opponents, which resulted in Steven Pienaar receiving a second yellow card and being sent off the field.
