Antonio Conte, after not waiting for the end of the 2-0 victory over Bologna, started celebrating the win before the end and received criticism.
The emotions of the Turin Juventus coach, which were expressed with air kisses in front of the television cameras and joyful gestures to the fans gathered in the stands, were called "exaggerated" by Bologna's coach Andrea Pioli.
"I cannot communicate and celebrate together with the fans, then what can I do?" - asked A.Conte.
"Our victories always bother our opponents. I apologize, but I really showed no disrespect to anyone. We have seen terrible things, such as stones thrown at the players' bus windows and insulting chants, so why is there a problem when I want to celebrate with the fans?".
"I won and I am one step away from another Scudetto. Is that not respect for others? The kiss in front of the camera was a spontaneous gesture dedicated to my daughter."
A.Conte first announced that Juventus will win the Italian championship for the second year in a row.
"Just like last season, Juventus is flying higher than the others. We have achieved important victories and we must continue on this path. Today we won an important victory, but there are still nine games left. We will continue our work, which has brought us rightfully here, and we will also focus on the Champions League," noted A.Conte.
