J.Mourinho: I accuse FIFA of violations in selecting the world's best coach © EuroFootball.com

"Real" coach Jose Mourinho accused the FIFA organization of fraud. J. Mourinho stated that he did not participate in the "Golden Ball" awards ceremony in January because the votes for Coach of the Year had been falsified, according to soccernet.com.

In 2012, the Coach of the Year was chosen as the Spanish national team coach Vicente Del Bosque, but the Portuguese is convinced that it happened dishonorably.

In January, after announcing that he would not attend the "Ballon d'Or" awards, where the best Player of the Year is announced (L. Messi was chosen - Ed.), J. Mourinho insisted that he could not as he was preparing for the "King's Cup" return match against Celta Vigo.

Suspicions arose when the Spanish newspaper "AS" photographed the strategist watching his son's game at the same time as the ceremony was taking place in Zurich.

The 50-year-old coach revealed to Portuguese television RTP that the real reason for his absence was possible FIFA corruption.

"One, two, or three people called me and said they voted for me, but their votes went to another coach. That's why I decided not to go. I accuse FIFA of violating the rules in choosing the best coach in the world. There was definitely a lack of transparency. FIFA knows about these violations. They realize it exists and do not avoid it," said the "Special One".

V. Del Bosque won the award by collecting 505 votes. That's 34.51% of all votes. Second was J. Mourinho with 20.49%, and former "Barcelona" coach Josep Guardiola received 12.91% of the votes.

In an interview with RTP, J. Mourinho denied that he had already decided to leave "Real" club in the summer and has plans for where he will work next.

"I haven't agreed with the Madrid club about leaving. I haven't signed anything. It's funny," said the coach.
