Juventus" goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon joins the ranks of footballers fighting against racism.

Last week, "Milan" defender Kevin Prince-Boateng publicly condemned racism in the most popular sport on the planet at a press conference organized by the United Nations Organization.

The captain of the Italian national team supported the African's opinion.

"Boateng is right in saying that racism in football is like malaria, which needs to be cured as soon as possible," - the goalkeeper's words are quoted by the "Rai Sport" news agency.

"This problem is very delicate. Some racist insults are very painful and it is necessary to publicize them. They differ from usual teasing."

In the same interview, G.Buffon was also asked about his daily life at home with his family.

"You won't often see me walking around the house in slippers. I have a lot of professional commitments, but I am a simple person. I stay at home with my family, change diapers, and read fairy tales to my children," - smiled the veteran of the "Juventus" team.

"My wife is a great cook, so she spends more time in the kitchen. When I lived alone in Parma, I cooked for myself. My favorite dish was pasta with tuna. I have many hobbies and I would love to learn English."

G.Buffon also did not hide his admiration for the new Pope Francis I: "His face and soul are simply wonderful. I always dreamed of having such a pope."
