On Friday, the only matches of the 4th round of the "SMScredit.lt A League" were played.
The excellent sports form team of Klaipėda "Atlantas" and "Šiauliai" met at the Gargždų city stadium this season. At the end of the match, the Šiauliai team won with a score of 1-3.
The first goal was scored in the 30th minute. Andrius Bartkus led the hosts ahead, but in the 67th minute, George Alaverdashvilis equalized the score.
Both teams had opportunities during the remaining time, but they were not successful in exploiting them. However, at the end of the match, the team from Šiauliai showed their superiority. First, Niko Tokić scored, and a few minutes later, G. Alaverdashvilis doubled the score.
After these successful matches, the team from Saulės rose to 4th place in the A League, while "Atlantas" remains in 2nd place.
