On Saturday, the third round of matches of the "SMScredit.lt A League" were played in Lithuania.
In Gargzdai, the hosts "Banga" met the champions Panevezys "Ekranas". The seemingly uninspired visitors defeated the hosts with a score of 0-2.
The first goal for "Banga" was scored in the 24th minute of the first half. Defender Vitalijus Kavaliauskas put "Ekranas" ahead.
In the second half, the Gargzdai team pressed their opponents and created more dangerous attacks, but they failed to equalize the score. In extra time, a goal was scored by Aurimas Vertelis, securing a victory for the visitors.
In other matches, victories were achieved by Marijampole's "Suduva" and Vilnius' "Zalgiris".
