Requesting friends to pay for bus tickets, food bought with the last cents, and complete uncertainty - this is how the legionnaires from France and Italy who came to Lithuania were living, seduced by promises of living comfortably and luxuriously in Pakruojis, writes "Šiaulių kraštas."

On Friday, after spending their last money on bread and peanut butter, the French legionnaires who left "Kruoja" on Thursday were packing suitcases.

"We're drifting," - that's how the situation was commented on by the football players, who couldn't even afford to eat at the café last week, which used to provide them with meals.

The legionnaires revealed that Adriano Coppa, who acquired "Kruoja" in January for a symbolic euro, promised them separate apartments and high salaries in Pakruojis. However, they never received such houses or money.

"I no longer have any money. My friends will pay for the bus trip to Vilnius," said Stephane Coquinas, who no longer intends to return to Lithuania with his colleagues.
