On Saturday afternoon, the fifth round of the "SMScredit.lt A league" matches were played in Lithuania.
In Panevėžys, the local team "Ekranas" faced Marijampolė's "Sūduva". The winner was not determined in the match, ending in a 2-2 draw.
The Marijampolė team took the lead in the 20th minute with a goal from Rafael Ledesma. However, the hosts created more opportunities than their opponents, equalizing the score in the 35th minute with a long-range shot from Igors Kozlovs.
At the end of the first half, the guests from Marijampolė managed to take the lead again with a goal from Nerijus Valskis in the 44th minute.
The end of the match was quite dramatic. During stoppage time, the Lithuanian champions managed to equalize the score, with veteran Vitalijus Kavaliauskas becoming the hero.
