On Saturday, the XXXI round of the Italian Championship began. It was started by the defending champions and championship leaders "Juventus", who hosted the team of "Pescara" at home.
The "Bianconeri" players had several good opportunities before the first goal, but they failed to capitalize on them.
The goal came in the 72nd minute. Mirko Vučinič scored accurately from the penalty spot. The visitors' goalkeeper Giuseppe Rizzo, who conceded the penalty in his own goal, was sent off the field.
Soon after, the same M. Vučiničius defeated the opponents' goalkeeper Ivan Pelizzoli for the second time and, accompanied by the applause of the spectators, left the field by Antonio Conte's decision.
To give some consolation to the "Pescara" team, Emmanuel Cascione scored a long-range goal against goalkeeper Marco Storari, leaving no hopes.
After these matches, "Juventus" increased the gap from "Napoli" to 12 points. The latter will play their round match on Sunday.
