On Sunday afternoon, in the XXXI round of the Italian championship matches, two teams from the top four clashed.

The players of "Fiorentina" showed strong character at home and managed to tie the match against the in-form "Milan" team.

In the first half, "Rossoneri" took the lead with a goal from midfielder Ricardo Montolivo. Furthermore, at the end of the half, Florentina's center-back Nenad Tomovic was sent off the field.

In the second half, the hosts suffered another blow - the second goal was scored into their net by midfielder Mathieu Flamini.

However, "Viola" did not break and in the 66th minute, Adem Ljajic narrowed the gap with a penalty kick, and in the 73rd minute, David Pizarro scored from there, equalizing the match result and later securing a point for his team.

One of the evening matches was full of intrigue. "Inter" players at home lost 3-4 to the "Atalanta" team.

The "Nerazzurri" team led 3-1, but the initiative was taken by the opponents' forward Denis, and his hat-trick brought victory to the mid-table team. Ricky Alvarez also scored twice for "Inter".

In other stadiums, led by Antonio Di Natale, "Udinese" defeated "Chievo", while "Napoli" defeated "Genoa". In the latter match, the home team's leader Edinson Cavani missed a penalty kick.
