2012/13 "Druskininkų Hermis" Cup final matches of the Lithuanian Football Federation will take place on May 19th at the S. Darius and S. Girėnas Sports Center in Kaunas.

For the past two years, the cup final has traveled around southern Lithuania - in 2011 the final took place in Alytus, and last year in Marijampolė. This year it was decided to hold the final in Kaunas, where high-level club football matches have not been held in recent years.

Four teams are competing in the cup final - in the semi-finals, Klaipėda's "Atlantas" will face Vilnius' "Žalgiris" and Panevėžys' "Ekranas" will play against "Šiauliai". The first semi-final matches will be played on April 16-17, and the second ones on April 30 and May 1.

Traditionally, the cup final winner is determined through one match on a neutral field. The cup winner - if it will be "Atlantas" or "Šiauliai" - will earn the right to represent Lithuania in the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League.

The Lithuanian Football Cup tournament has been held since 1947. Last year, "Žalgiris" defeated "Ekranas" after a penalty shootout. This year will determine the 67th cup winner.

In the 2012/13 season, a total of 63 teams from all Lithuanian football divisions competed in the LFF "Druskininkų Hermis" Cup tournament.
