On Tuesday, two matches of the 6th round of the "SMScredit.lt A lyga" were played.
The team from Šiauliai hosted guests from Tauragė. In a high-scoring match, the players from Tauragė suffered a defeat with a score of 4-2.
The hosts took the lead first, with Niko Tokičius scoring in the 33rd minute. Just a few minutes later, Marius Kižys equalized the score.
In the second half, the battle began anew. It didn't take long for goals to come - in the 52nd minute, Rokas Gedminas once again put the people of Šiauliai ahead.
In the 70th minute, "Tauro" player Mantas Lėkis scored an own goal. In the 77th minute, the guests from Tauragė reduced the gap when Vytautas Dragūnevičius scored a goal.
Just two minutes later, George Alaverdashvili doubled the score from the penalty spot, showing his unstoppable form in the A lyga this season.
In another match, Klaipėda's "Atlantas" faced Alytus' "Dainava". The hosts from Western Lithuania, led by Evaldas Razulis, claimed a crushing victory.
E. Razulis scored five goals against the opponents, with four of them coming in the first half where he managed to beat the opponent's goalkeeper four times. In the second half, he scored his fifth goal to celebrate his milestone.
In the 81st minute, Marius Papšys also scored for the hosts, while the only goal for the opponents from Alytus was scored by Martynas Biržinis.
