Dortmund's "Borussia" strategist Jürgen Klopp admitted that in the Champions League quarter-final second leg against "Malaga," his players were accompanied by success.
The German champions, who lost the title over the weekend, scored two goals in the 91st and 93rd minutes, resulting in a dramatic 3-2 victory. However, there were discussions in both cases whether the offside rule was violated.
"Football showed both of its faces: devastated losers and triumphant winners," said Klopp. "It's not often that so much luck is needed: we didn't play very well, but we fought for the win.
"I believe that based on both matches, we deserve to move on to the semifinals, but playing like this in the Champions League won't lead to success. It's unbelievable, but we've achieved our goal of being among the four strongest clubs. I will need to visit the doctor!"
"Borussia" will play in the Champions League semifinals for the first time since 1998.
