The court of Great Britain has imposed a three-year ban on a fan of the "Arsenal" club from attending matches at the stadium.
The fan committed an offense when on March 3rd, during a match, he threw a banana at Gareth Bale, the leader of the "Tottenham Hotspur" team.
The 23-year-old Thomas Flint will also have to pay a fine of 292 euros for his inappropriate actions. The young man appeared in court with his family and friends. During the trial, the court official noted that the incident could have caused riots at the stadium.
The young man has not been previously punished for similar offenses. The match where a banana was thrown at the football player ended with a 2:1 victory for "Arsenal".
