Former "Barcelona" player and coach Johan Cruyff believes that Alexis Sanchez should continue to play for the Catalan club.
The Chilean is often criticized for lack of determination or unsuccessful attacking play against opponents' goals, but the legendary Dutchman believes that Alexis is still useful to his current team.
"Many criticize him and say that Alexis does not fit into 'Barca' or simply does not reach the current team's level. I think they are wrong. The match against 'Mallorca' showed that he can and is capable of being useful to the team. Two goals and two assists to Cesc Fabregas prove that he feels the game. He gives the team what others cannot give," said J. Cruyff.
According to reports in the media, several Italian and English clubs are reportedly interested in the Chilean, but the former strategist of the Catalan team believes that the player's career at "Barca" should continue.
"Of course, no one will argue that Alexis is not Lionel Messi, but he is needed by his current team," the Dutchman affirmed.
