On Sunday evening, the second participant of the English Football Association (FA) Cup final was revealed.
In London, at the "Wembley" stadium, Roberto Mancini's "Manchester City" team eliminated Rafael Benitez's "Chelsea" footballers from the tournament.
In the first half, the representatives of Manchester dominated the field. Their efforts paid off in the 35th minute, when Samir Nasri sent the ball into the net after a confusion in the opponents' penalty area.
At the beginning of the second half, Sergio Aguero doubled the lead and "Chelsea" found themselves in an enviable position.
In the second half, the London team started to attack and in the 66th minute managed to soften the result. Demba Ba scored an impressive goal with a strike past himself.
Scoring the goal brought the "Wembley" stands to life. "Chelsea" launched one attack after another, but the "citizens" goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon saved the team from conceding several times.
Roberto Mancini's proteges managed to maintain their advantage and reach the final of the cup, where they will face Roberto Martinez's "Wigan" footballers, who yesterday defeated the "Milwall" footballers.
