Vilnius city football league team "Žalgiris-3" players tested their strength in a football quiz over the weekend.

In the fifth Paulius Ambrazevičius-organized "EuroFootball.com" football knowledge competition tour, the players from Žalgiris participated as guests.

For the footballers, this was their first time participating in this type of game. The young players from Žalgiris finished in 24th place out of 32 participating teams.

The quiz consisted of 5 rounds, with 10 questions in each round. In the first three stages, participants had to answer general football questions, the fourth round consisted of audio questions, and the last round included video questions.

At the beginning of the quiz, the "Žalgiris-3" team representatives found it difficult - they were only able to answer two questions correctly in the first round. However, as the quiz progressed, the young players improved and constantly climbed up the leaderboard.

After the quiz, the boys joked that if there were a few more rounds, the team could have climbed into the top ranks.

The young Žalgiris players struggled the most with questions about football history. The team also had some bad luck a few times when the players, faced with several answer choices, always chose the wrong one.

Many of the tasks presented by the quiz moderator P. Ambrazevičius were accompanied by smiles from the Žalgiris players, as they were interesting but very challenging. For example, quiz participants had to identify the Vietnamese Football Federation crest, arrange the Lithuanian national team footballers who played the most matches in order, and tackle more difficult puzzles.

The members of the "Žalgiris-3" team were happy to have participated in the quiz and added interesting football facts to their knowledge.

We remind you that the Vilnius city football league team "Žalgiris" established the main prize of this quiz - an annual subscription to Žalgiris home games, which will be won by the winners of the football knowledge competition.
