Former Real Madrid sporting director Jorge Valdano congratulated Josep Guardiola on becoming the strategist of Bayern Munich and insisted that he is a completely different coach.
Earlier, the Argentinian also did not spare praise for former Barcelona manager, comparing him to the famous Apple founder Steve Jobs.
"Football depends on tactics. Technique is less important than tactical decisions," Valdano said in an interview.
"For most coaches, results are more important than playing style. Guardiola is different, the quality of the game is the most important to him. The football system used by the coach was an innovation," added the former footballer.
