On Wednesday, the second leg of the semi-finals of the Italian Cup was played.
At "San Siro" stadium, Milan's "Inter" club welcomed guests from Rome. After a fierce battle, the players of "Roma" secured their spot in the cup final.
The hosts took the lead first, when Jonathan sent the ball into the opponents' goal after a beautiful pass from Tommaso Rocchi.
"Inter's" hopes of reaching the final were shattered in the 55th minute by Mattia Destro, who equalized the score. Soon after, M. Destro put "Roma" ahead.
In the 74th minute, the Milan team found themselves in a critical situation, with Vasilis Torosidis scoring against Maarten Stekelenburg.
Nevertheless, "Inter" managed to soften the result towards the end of the match, but with an overall score of 3-5, the team from the Italian capital advanced to the final.
The final of the "Coppa Italia" tournament will take place on May 26th, where two teams from Rome will compete.
