G.Marotta: "Juventus" is not the club that sells its best players © EuroFootball.com

Multiple Italian champions do not plan to sell their leaders.

Turin's "Juventus" general director Giuseppe Marotta once again emphasized that the team categorically rejects any offers for its most powerful players.

The Italian club is not interested in the possibility of profiting from the sale of the team's dominant defensive duo Arturo Vidal and Paulo Pogba by elite European clubs.

According to unofficial information, A.Vidal is being sought after by all the strongest clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, P.Pogba, who has shone this season, has also become a hot commodity in the player market, but G.Marotta is not prepared to enter into negotiations for the sale of these players.

"Pogba, who has a long-term contract with Juventus, represents a smart investment. We are happy that he is progressing faster than we expected. I can guarantee that he will stay with us. Meanwhile, Vidal was a smart purchase for the club, from which coach Antonio Conte squeezed out the maximum. We aim for him to remain in our team. Juventus is an ambitious club that does not sell its best players," noted G.Marotta.

Last Tuesday, the Juventus under-21 team, which includes Lithuanian player Vykintas Slivka, defeated Napoli in the final with an aggregate score of 3-2 and won the Italian Cup.

"This victory crowned a project started three years ago. We are proud of them and of the Juventus club," said the general director.

"Our list of young players includes 78 names. Some play abroad, others in Italy. In the Serie B division, we currently have 18 young players, while in Serie A, we can see the progress of Manolo Gabbiadini and Ciro Immobile. After the season, we will sit down with the coaching staff to decide who will return to the Juventus team."

After the defeat in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals to Bayern with a total score of 0-4, there were again rumors in the press that the Italian club needs a top-class forward.

"It is difficult to achieve victories and maintain a balanced budget. UEFA's financial regulations should prevent senseless transfers, of which there have been quite a few in recent years. Some clubs because of such policies may disappear from the football map altogether," reflected the general director.

"We must respect the regulations introduced by UEFA and at the same time achieve victories, which are in Juventus's blood. The results in the Champions League do not depend solely on investments but also on planning. We aim to create a championship model that will allow us to win everything," noted G.Marotta.
