The head coach of Chelsea, Rafa Benitez, assures that Fernando Torres is regaining his sporting form and the club will not give up on the striker's services anymore. The Spaniard, who cost 50 million pounds, has not met expectations and there are more and more speculations in the press that F. Torres will leave the "Blues" team.
"Fernando has had a specific plan for some time, according to which he has worked hard and trained a lot," Benitez told journalists. "Today we can rejoice in Torres' changes."
"He was helped the most by fitness coach Paco de Miguel, who also used to create a plan for the striker at Liverpool. Torres has put in a lot of work, and now his athletic form is improving rapidly," added the strategist.
The 29-year-old footballer has scored 20 goals in 56 games this season. In the last five matches, F. Torres has scored three times.
