London's "Arsenal" is outraged that striker Olivier Giroud has been suspended for the next three matches and the club intends to appeal to the FA.
The incident occurred at the end of the match itself, when the French national team player tried to send the ball off the sideline and at the same time obstructed London's "Fulham" defender Stanislav Manolev, resulting in a red card being shown.
"We spoke with Giroud and he said that he slipped while kicking the ball and therefore obstructed the 'Fulham' player. I don't think the referee made the wrong decision," said A. Wenger immediately after the match.
However, now the opinion of the "Arsenal" club has changed and they will appeal to the English Football Association in the near future.
After the 34th round, the "Gunners" team remains in third place in the Premier League. There are only four matches left until the end of the season, and "Arsenal" is only one point ahead of their closest pursuers.
