The long-time strategist of the title-winning team "Manchester United" Sir Alex Ferguson revealed that the team's owners will allow him to invest more money in strengthening the team than in the past.
After a few weeks, the "United" team will once again be able to compete for the English champions' trophy, but the team's management and coach have already started preparing for the next season.
Ferguson hinted that the Glazer family will support him in ambitious signings this summer, despite previously saying he would only look for a couple of new players.
"I spoke to the Glazers, they intend to help the team move forward. We need two players, but if we find a player that fits our criteria, we will try to sign him, no matter how many players we have," said Ferguson.
Next season, the coach hopes for a tighter fight for the "Premier League" title and admitted that London's "Chelsea" club could join the battle.
"London's 'Chelsea' will undoubtedly join the fight next season. They have good players and it seems that Jose Mourinho will return there," said the Scottish coach about the competitors.
