Last Sunday, Sergejus Borovskis informed the leadership of FBK of his intention to leave the position of head coach of Lithuania's champions. Until today, he remained in the team's training camp, waiting for his successor to whom he could hand over the club's reins.
Today, the Belarusian's request was granted and he departed for his homeland.
The new head coach of FBK "Kaunas" will most likely be Georgian specialist Revaz Dzodzuashvili.
Sergejus Borovskis has not commented on his departure yet, but it is believed that he acted receiving a better offer. According to the Belarusian online press, Borovskis has a couple of offers from clubs in Russia and Ukraine.
