n Tuesday, the return leg of the Lithuanian Football Federation Cup semi-finals was played in Lithuania.

In Vilnius, once again, the Klaipėda "Atlantas" footballers, who have demonstrated excellent form this season, clashed with the hosts "Žalgiris". In a fierce battle, the Vilnius team snatched victory in the final minutes of the match.

The match started with cautious play. Both teams in the first half were looking for weaknesses to exploit and break through, but the players had no major problems in defense.

A slightly more dangerous chance was created in the 34th minute, when in the penalty area, one "Žalgiris" forward, Kamilis Bilinskis, shot straight at the goalkeeper, and the rebound that came Andro Švrljunga's way was not directed towards the goal.

At the end of the first half, an opportunity to score was had by an "Atlantas" player, but Vilnius was saved from a potential goal by Andrius Skerla.

In the second half, the battle resumed. The game remained tight, and both teams were seeking the first goal.

In the 73rd minute, the "Atlantas" players created a very dangerous opportunity, with Evaldas Razulis as the main player, but the goalkeeper responded well to the shot aimed at his goal.

Both teams had chances to score the decisive goal during the remaining time. However, the hosts managed to snatch victory and a ticket to the final in extra time. The winning goal was scored by Vedranas Gercas.

Let's remember that the first match at the Gargždai City Stadium ended in a goalless draw.
