Mourinho: next season with "Real"? Maybe not... (VIDEO) © EuroFootball.com

Real Madrid's strategist, Jose Mourinho, loudly mentioned after losing in the UEFA Champions League semi-final that this season is likely his last with the team in the capital of Spain.

The "Royal" club won 2-0 against Borussia Dortmund in front of their own fans, but they withdrew from the trophy race since they lost the first game in Germany 1-4.

When asked if he will postpone plans to take a decisive step with Real next season after three consecutive losses in the Champions League semi-finals, Mourinho replied: "Maybe not. I want to be where I am loved by the fans."

He continued: "I know that in England I am loved by the enthusiasts, and the media behaves fairly. I know that several clubs love me, but especially one. In Spain, it's different, as some people hate me. Many of them are in this room right now. It is a difficult decision to make because I like this club, we have also assembled a fantastic team ready to achieve great results. I will decide after the season, sitting down with the president, who is my friend. After all, I have a valid contract, although nowadays in football they are often terminated. I have to be honest and open. I will tell you everything after the season."

A clear favorite to attract Mourinho is considered to be the London club Chelsea, where he worked as a specialist from 2004-2007. It is important to note that the English team will not have a coach after the season, as a temporary contract was made with Rafael Benitez, expiring only in the summer.

Commenting on the match with Borussia, Mourinho said: "I am disappointed in one of my favorite referees, Howard Webb. He really saw the episode where he should have sent Mats Hummels off the field, but he made a decision thinking not as a referee, but as a person: it would have prevented him from appearing in the final.

"But in football, you either win or lose. We had the opportunity to celebrate victory. The opponents created some good chances, but the conditions were set by our risk in attacking with great force. We showed character and the desire to win, but we were punished for a very unsuccessful first match."
