"Barcelona" manager Tito Vilanova admitted that in the Champions League semi-finals, "Bayern" from Munich showed obvious superiority. The German champions crushed the leaders of the Spanish championship with a total score of 7-0, but Vilanova claims he is not planning to fundamentally renew the team's lineup in the summer. "Messi was not injured, but he didn't feel well, so I didn't expect help from him on the field," the coach said. "In the weekend match against Athletic Bilbao, he appeared after substitution because he felt much better, but at the end of the match he started to feel pain. So we would have risked only at the end of the match if we had a chance to snatch a ticket to the final." Speaking about the semi-final, Vilanova added: "Physically, the Bayern team is very well prepared. The difference between the teams was enormous, so all that's left is to congratulate the opponents and thank our supporters. We have been plagued by injuries this season, and at this level, we have to pay a high price for it." There should not be major changes in the lineup for the next season: "We don't need many newcomers because a lot of players are recovering from injuries. Of course, there will be some changes, but even now we have a strong team."
