Claudio Marchisio categorically denied rumors about a possible move to Manchester United.
The Turin Juventus youth academy product has long been linked with the multiple English champions.
Speaking to journalists from the news agency "Sport Mediaset", the midfielder emphasized his desire to continue playing for the Turin team.
"I can't imagine myself wearing another club's jersey. I would be foolish to leave a club that has returned to the path of victories. I am not interested in rumors, I am happy at Juventus and I want to sign a new contract," said C.Marchisio.
Rumors about the sale of the Italy national team defender were sparked by Juventus' desire to buy Paris Saint-Germain's star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Asked about the possible arrival of Z.Ibrahimovic, C.Marchisio replied: "Ibra has won trophies at every club he has defended. We would welcome him with open arms."
"All players who elevate the team to another level are welcome. Everything is in the hands of the club, but there is no doubt that Ibra is a wonderful footballer," noted C.Marchisio.
