On Sunday, two intriguing matches of the XXXVI round took place in the English Premier League.
London's "Chelsea" team, fighting for a place in next year's UEFA Champions League tournament, secured a very important victory away by a minimal score of 1-0 against the already crowned champions, "Manchester United."
Three points were brought to the "Blues" by Juano Matos' shot in the 87th minute of the match. However, the goal was scored as an own goal by Phil Jones, as the ball touched him before entering Anders Lindegaard's goal.
Soon after, the nerves got the better of "Red Devils" defender Rafael, who unethically fouled David Luiz. Howard Webb had to show a red card to the Brazilian.
The principal derby of Liverpool ended in a goalless draw.
