On Sunday, the 34th round of matches of the Spanish "Primera" championship took place.
At the "Camp Nou" stadium, the local "Barcelona" and Seville's "Real Betis" tested their strength against each other. Led by L. Messi, the hosts secured a victory with a score of 4-2.
In the first half, the visitors from Seville were ahead. In the 2nd minute, Manuel Pinto conceded a goal from Dorlan Pabon after a pass from Alex Martinez.
The hosts did not have to wait long for a response, as Alexis Sanchez equalized the score in the 9th minute, scoring after a precise pass from Andres Iniesta.
Approaching the end of the first half, "Real Betis" players launched an attack and led the visitors forward with an impressive goal scored by goalkeeper Ruben Perez.
In the second half, "Barcelona" picked up the pace again. In the 56th minute, David Villa equalized the score, immediately replaced by Lionel Messi. Just entering the field, the Argentine took a penalty shot, which he perfectly executed to put the team ahead. Shortly after, L. Messi defeated the goalkeeper once again.
If "Barcelona" wins the next weekend, they will secure the title of Spanish champions.
In other matches, "Mallorca" played to a draw with "Levante", while "Zaragoza" and "Sevilla" left no hope for their opponents at home.
