On a calm Tuesday evening, two matches of the 11th round of the "SMScredit.lt A League" were played.
At the stadium in Gargzdai, the players of Klaipeda "Atlantas" and Vilnius "Zalgiris" faced each other. The guests from the capital city secured a minimal victory with a score of 0-1.
In the first half, both teams played evenly and created almost the same number of chances. Especially the goalkeepers had to work hard at the end of the half, as the teams started to launch very dangerous attacks, but no goals were scored in the first 45 minutes.
In the second half, the game remained similar. However, in the 71st minute, the "Zalgiris" managed to break through when Kamilis Bilinskis scored after a pass from Mantas Kuklys.
In another match, "Siauliai" and Marijampole "Suduva" clashed for the second time. The teams ended in a draw with a score of 1-1.
The hosts from Siauliai were the first to score when Niko Tokicius scored, but the result was leveled by Rafael Ledesma at the end of the match.
