David Moyes today traveled to Manchester to negotiate with the "Man Utd" club.

The 50-year-old specialist will have a challenging task of replacing the legendary 71-year-old Sir Alex Ferguson, who announced the end of his impressive coaching career at the Manchester team, spanning 26 years.

The Scot Moyes has been coaching Liverpool's "Everton" since 2002 and is considered one of the best strategists in the Premier League, constantly achieving good results with a relatively modest team. However, his lack of experience in European cup tournaments is cited as a disadvantage, as he has never had the opportunity to lead an elite club in competing for top positions.

"He has a winner's mentality, and maintains the same work ethic as Sir Alex," former England national team coach Steve McClaren praised his colleague. "David has long awaited this opportunity, and the day of success has finally dawned."

However, former England national team striker Alan Shearer was not as enthusiastic: "Everyone who has worked with Moyes praises his ability to communicate with players and training methods. However, there is a considerable risk, as he has not won any trophies with Everton."

D. Moyes will leave the Everton club at the end of the season and immediately take over the reins of the "Red Devils."
