Italian champions looking for solid reinforcement have set their sights on Real Madrid's star.
There are reports that Juventus will make an official offer of 22 million euros for Gonzalo Higuain's contract.
It is no secret that last summer Italian coach Antonio Conte wanted to see the Argentine national team striker in his team.
The negotiations were concluded by Jose Mourinho, who was in charge of Real last season.
Unofficial information suggests that Higuain will be offered a contract valid until 2017 with an annual salary of 4.5 million euros. Juventus will have to pay the transfer fee over three years.
Higuain would become the second striker to join the Turin team this summer. Spanish national team and Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente has already signed a contract with Juventus.
