In Barcelona, ​​local "Espanyol" met Madrid's "Real." The match ended in a draw with a score of 1-1, but this result meant that "Barcelona" is the new champions of Spain.

"Espanyol" took the lead first, when Christian Stuani scored, but Gonzalo Higuain equalized in the 58th minute.

"Real" has two more matches left in the "Primera" championship, while Catalonia has three. After these draws against the royal club, "Barcelona" gained a 7-point lead, which is now impossible for "Real" to overcome in the two remaining matches.
