Tens of thousands of "Manchester United" fans flooded the streets on Monday to congratulate their idols on the twentieth English title in history and once again loudly thank the coach, Sir Alex Ferguson, who will leave the club after the season.
The "Red Devils" lifted the "Premier League trophies in advance on Sunday, and later continued the festivities in bars.
The parade on Monday lasted over an hour.
"Sunday was a day I will never forget. My family will never forget it," said Alex Ferguson, who has dedicated almost 27 years to the club, as Manchester United fans held a special tribute for him at Old Trafford stadium. The 2-1 win against Swansea City was the last home game with Ferguson at the helm.
"The feeling is incredible. It was definitely worth the wait," rejoiced Robin van Persie with his teammates.
Many fans carried flags, wore scarves, and some even had masks of Alex Ferguson on their faces. For a better view, some fans climbed onto the roofs of houses, and office workers joined the celebration.
The Manchester streets that withstood the excitement of football fans should wake up once again on Sunday. That's when "Manchester United" will play their last game of the season against "West Bromwich Albion" away.
