Neymar is measuring himself for "Barcos" shirts, but waiting for a counteroffer from "Real" © EuroFootball.com

San Paulo "Santos" leaders do not deny that intense negotiations are currently taking place with "Barcelona" regarding forward Neymar. The player himself wants to join the ranks of the Spanish champions, but a final agreement has not yet been reached.

In addition, Brazilians are waiting for a response from Madrid's "Real", as "Blaugrana" also wants to acquire Neymar, who is considered the most talented player of his generation.

"Neymar told us he wants to move to the "Barcelona" team," said "Santos" vice president Odilio Rodrigues. "There are other offers, but Barcelona is the priority. Real has not yet revealed their cards, but we are convinced that an offer will come from their side."

Earlier, the Brazilian insisted he did not plan to leave his homeland until 2014, when his current contract expires. Due to the short-term contract, his market value has almost halved to 27 million euros, so it is undeniable that he will move to Europe this summer.

"Barcelona" representatives are currently in Brazil, negotiating with "Santos" and Neymar himself, who has scored 12 goals in 17 matches in the national championship this year.
